Knife crime week

As part of #OPSCEPTRE week for Knife Crime I have focused my patrols around Bridgend town centre spreading awareness on knife crime. Two of these locations were the Rhiw market, visiting businesses and Bridgend bus station.  I had some great conversations engaging with the public with the aim of working towards a safer community, talking crime statistics and gave out leaflets including more information about knife crime and what people can do.

This is a subject that can never be discussed enough and education and awareness is crucial.
